Windowsill Gardener is a one-room indoor-gardening blog written for everyone who’s ever killed a houseplant because the internet told them to “water when the soil is dry” and not much else.
We test grow lights, potting mixes, planters, and the small-space tricks that make indoor gardening actually work in normal apartments — north-facing studios, windowless bathrooms, basement plant shelves, and kitchen herb trays. Our guides skip the fluff and lead with the one decision you actually need to make.
What we publish

- Plant-care explainers in plain English, with the science only when it actually helps.
